A follower of mine on Instagram pointed out that this photo of me reminds her of Bon Iver's
Holocene video. Thought I share this with you, cause this song is just amazing and the
video even more. Oh Iceland, you are so breathtaking!

This cat drove me crazy today... he wanted to escape so I had to grab his tail and push him
down. He didn't like that. So he is angry with me now and runs away when I enter the flat.

Uhhhh... I was sick the last couple of days. Not funny. I went out to get a healthy smoothie.
Yeah... nothing special to tell you. :-) Just life.

Angry, angry Sophia. I really hate the wind here sometimes. It makes my hair wuhaaaa and
my beanies are always flying away. So if you see a swearing girl, running after her hats,
around Reykjavik – that's probably me. But only if it's windy... Gosh, I really don't like it.

One of my favourite cars all time – Lada Niva. Found in the west fjörds of Iceland.

After being stuck we finally got the call, that the streets are cleared. Just for us! Our really
nice hosts for the last two nights gave us a ride up to the mountain, where the car was still
standing. We drove back to Reykjavik on really icy roads and stopped a couple of times,
because the nature was just so beautiful. And for shooting one more time... into the air!

We started the day with eggs, bacon and coffee and made everything ready to go back
to Reykjavik. We decided to drive back another way so I could see more of Iceland and
also this house. Buuut... we got into a huge snowstorm. Got stuck several times and
couldn't see the street at all. I was sitting in the car with my eyes closed, ready to fall
off the next cliff. Really – we couldn't see 5cm. After a couple of hours in the darkness
it was time to call help. We got rescued, left the dog aka my polar teddy bear behind us
and went to Thingeyri. A small, small, smaaaaaaaaaall village.
